SLOW YOGA

LIQUID STRETCH FORMULA

INGESTIBLE CANNABIS OIL

FROM VERMONT FOREST

“The same as Jared's nano works on me. Otherwise they differ in their effects. Yours has a medicinal body effect and my favorite high of all the types of edibles I've tried.”
Johny A. - Vermont

Liquid Stretch Formula is the oil that inspired Slow Yoga.

It is an ingestible cannabis oil designed to pair with the Slow Yoga practice.

Slow Yoga brings together stretching, a dark and quiet room, ingestible cannabis, and your body weight resting on the floor to unload your spine. One rule guides it: follow what feels good.

The personal accounts on this site come from the original formulation work.

The original oil

Liquid Stretch.
Where this started.

Liquid Stretch is the original cannabis-oil formulation from which this work developed.

The recipe began with a slow-cooked, whole-plant infusion using organic ingredients where available. THC and CBD met an oil carrier and lecithin; a touch of vanilla rounded it out.

The food and ritual were part of the story: combining the oil with yogurt, whole milk, or a meal with some fat; showering; changing into comfortable clothes; and creating darkness with a blindfold or a dark room. Chicken fat was one example, not a required ingredient.

Understand the parts

Each ingredient
has a job.

CBD: the cannabinoid

CBD is one compound found in cannabis. An isolate is refined to largely remove other plant compounds.

Check the ingredient specification and batch certificate rather than relying only on the product name.

Carrier oil: the base

MCT and other edible oils appear in the development history.

The carrier holds the plant compounds and is part of the preparation’s composition and handling; check intended use and allergens.

Lecithin: the emulsifier

Lecithin is an emulsifier used in the original formulation work.

Its presence alone does not establish a liposomal, water-soluble or time-release product.

The whole-plant profile

The original concept includes cannabinoids and terpenes.

CBD isolate is a different starting material with a different profile.

Know your materials

Keep the story
with the bottle.

Keep the ingredient identity, supplier, batch number and certificate together.

Record what went into a preparation.

Calculated composition and laboratory measurements are different kinds of information; keep them distinct.

A certificate describes the sample tested; cannabinoid results alone do not establish contaminant screening, shelf life or effectiveness.

The ingredient’s certificate also does not test a preparation made from it.

How to take it

Take Liquid Stretch with fat.

Onset takes about two and a half to three hours.

Take it about four hours before your practice starts.

If you're starting at 8 PM, take it at 4 PM.

The biohack: the oil carries the cannabinoids, and fat helps your body take them in.

Before using CBD

CBD can cause drowsiness, interact with medicines and cause liver injury.

Discuss its use with a healthcare professional, particularly if you take medication or have a medical condition.

Avoid it during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and keep products away from children and pets.

In the floor practice, stop or adjust for sharp pain, dizziness or symptoms that concern you.

A choice built into the practice

Why ingestibles?

Take it during preparation. Settle the room. Let your attention turn inward.

Slow Yoga is designed so taking cannabis can belong to the preparation, leaving room to follow sensation once you begin moving.
